TIMBER SEAL APPLICATION GUIDE

LANOTEC TIMBER SEAL is a lanolin-based timber treatment designed to protect, nourish and weatherproof timber. It helps prevent cracking, splitting and drying while enhancing the natural grain and extending the life of outdoor timber structures, decks and furniture.

How to use

Ensure timber is clean and dry before application
Shake well before use
Apply an even coat using a sprayer, roller or lambswool pad
Allow product to soak in and dry fully
Reapply annually or as needed to maintain protection

💡 Applying to warm timber helps speed absorption and gives an even finish.

Important

Timber acts like a wick, drawing in only what it needs.
Over application will result in tackiness on the surface of the timber.

How to check if your deck needs recoating

Drop a small amount of water onto the timber surface.
If it absorbs quickly, it is time to recoat.
If the water beads on the surface, your timber is still protected.
